The Pats won their tenth straight season opener with a road win against the Buffalo Bills, but it was much closer than many people were expecting. New Bills quarterback EJ Manuel was impressive, throwing two touchdown passes, but he still fell short of Tom Brady’s 288 passing yards, and a Stephen Gostowski field goal in the last five seconds put the Pats over the top to win 23-21.
